Ok, here's a new one on me. I saw an idiot post "one in the same" instead of "one and the same". One in the same doesn't even make sense! What is the one supposedly inside of? AHAHAHA!

Meat Party

So my phone corrected "meat patty" to "meat party" and it made me laugh so I thought I'd share with you guys.

Also, there's a new Food Network show that I can't get enough of. Restaurant Stakeout. This show is fantastic! He wires the restaurant with cameras and mics and catches the employees doing stuff. One waitress, when supposedly boxing up a customer's meal for them, ATE some of their french fries! Right off their plate! She stuck her hand into their food and ate some of it! Some of the stuff they catch is just mind-boggling!

Since my last post went over like a lead balloon, let's try something else.

This has actually been bugging me for a while. On a lot of Food Networks shows they'll talk about "goat cheese" and then no further specification! I mean there are like 50 million different cheeses made from goat milk so which one are they talking about?!? That's like saying "cow cheese" as if that would help someone making a grocery list! WTF Food Network?!?

So this teacher in Michigan decided to change the lyric to "Don we now our bright apparel." Ugh, dumb! Good on the principal though, for handling it well!

I just made a post in a group and needed to use the phrase "per se". It got me thinking about how I so often see people misspell it "per say" and even "persay" (HAHA!!!) and I wondered what do the per say/persay people think when they see per se spelled correctly? Do they even know what it is?

I'm officially tired of this non-word. It was cute at first. TEN YEARS AGO! Now it just sounds stupid. Say Gigantic or enormous please.

It's finally warmed up, hooray!  It's going to be around 60 later today.  I am so over that cold weather.  I had about four blankets and a thick comforter on my bed.

I was watching a documentary last night and the narrator couldn't pronounce "fungi."  He kept pronouncing it with a hard G.  I don't know why they didn't correct him before it went on TV!  I wonder if he pronounces "giant" with a hard G?  hahaha!
