Back around the time I got my new coffee maker, my daughter told me that her coffee maker came with a re-usable filter. I was intrigued so I managed to acquire one of these for my own coffee maker. I have to say, after using it a couple of months, I really like it and would be loath to go back to paper filters. It makes a richer cup, more like french press coffee rather than drip. It's really great, so I would definitely recommend the re-usable filters!

We had to get a new coffee maker because our old one died. We've used Bunn coffee makers for years and years because they are so fast and they make good coffee. But when I priced the new ones I had a real case of sticker-shock! They wanted over $150 for one like our old one that died! Uh, no!

So I went to Amazon and checked out reviews and finally settled on this baby! It looks so great, I find it has a 50s kitchy quality to it, and it gets great reviews! And now that I have it in my hot little hands, I find that it also makes great coffee. It has features that my old coffee maker didn't too. Like I can pull the pot out in the middle of a brew cycle without coffee going everywhere. It just stops until I put the carafe back in place. I really love it!
