mirhandaI hate McAfee software. It came with this computer and I've been using it for a while but today it "updated" the software and wouldn't work correctly after that. I tried everything their help page said but finally decided to just ditch the piece of crap and get Avast like I have on my other computer.
I downloaded and installed Avast, and then uninstalled McAfee. As, I guess, a sort of "fuck you for uninstalling us" McAfee DISABLED MY INTERNET CONNECTION! I didn't know if I was coincidentally having cable problems or what so I had to go boot up my other computer, and sure enough it connected just fine. That's when I checked my Network Connection settings to find out it was DISABLED! Bastards!
