mirhandaSo we drove up to Monterey Bay today. I've heard of it forever and thought it would be nice, but it's really dingy and kind of seedy looking. The aquarium was fun, but not worth the drive up, really.
However the day was salvaged when we decided to drive back via highway 1 rather than 101 (which is more like an interstate.) That was the most beautiful, breathtaking and sometimes terrifying drive I've ever been on! Wow. If you get the chance, defintely make that drive. It's amazing (and sometimes quite scary!)
