Sookie Stackhouse

I'm still reading this series, but I'm becoming increasingly frustrated by the main character, Sookie Stackhouse. She breaks up with her boyfriend because he was raped. She feels that being raped is the same thing as him cheating on her. GRRRR. If a male main character broke up with a woman because she was raped, I think the author would be vilified. As the series goes on, Sookie is becoming more and more a Mary Sue. This series started out so well for a light, fun read, and now I'm just starting to dislike it.
