I'm doing a neutral henna treatment on my hair because I've heard such good things about it. This stuff looks disgusting though! Most charitably like mud, but really like diarrhea. I'm not crazy about the smell either. I just hope it makes my hair feel nice!

I woke up with a migraine this morning. It's the first time since I went back to low carb that I've had one, so I suppose that's not too bad. Actually, I ate some berries over the weekend, maybe that's why. They are pretty high in carbs. I am just not built to eat carbohydrates I guess.

I'm not going back into the _p post about the crazed thugs who attacked the American consulate, because my blood pressure just cannot take the strain from the people who are falling all over themselves to say "it's ok when muslims do it." No It's not. It's not ok when anyone does it. It's not ok to kill over media. Period. End of story. And it's almost funny because their own countrymen say it's not ok!

It's also pretty xenophobic (I'm not going to say racist because "muslim" isn't a race) to say that "those people can't help themselves" or "of course they'll riot, those people are like that!" or any of the other ethnocentric bullshit statement so-called liberals are flinging around over there.

So if anyone is here from there, I'm not even going to acknowledge that kind of crap, so I'm out.

I'm actually sitting here crying right now. I just finished my period 3 days ago and it's starting up again. I am so sick of this irregularity. No wonder I've been so moody and irrational. I just want my regular cycle back. It was a short 26 day cycle, but at least it was predictable. I don't know what I'm going to do, I am just sick of bleeding!

I am really enjoying my Nexus 7! I highly recommend them, especially since they are so reasonably priced. I just got a period tracking app! I already use mymonthlycycles.com, but I'm giving this a spin anyway.

I got on the scales this morning and was down by another pound and a half! Yea!

Our Nexus 7s arrived yesterday. I spent the afternoon figuring it out. I can see how this will be pretty useful. I'm really enjoying it, athough for reading I will stick with my Kindle for the most part. This tablet though will be great for web surfing in bed and when I'm in airports or whatnot.

I like that it's not humongous like the ones I typically see. This one is small enough that I can slip it into my normal purse without having to carry a gigantic bag. My purses do tend to be on the larger side, but not really gargantuan. I mean they are obviously purses, not briefcases.

The price was definitely right too. So anyone looking for a tablet, this one seems pretty good!

They need to kill off Juliette. That character is just so nothing! She doesn't add anything to the show at all. Bleahhhhhhhhhh.

Looks like Isaac is going to all but miss us here. We'll get some rain from it, but not as much as they'd thought. I'm a bit bummed because we desperately need the rain! But at least we'll get some rain, and that's better than nothing.

We're far enough from the coast that hurricanes are almost always downgraded to tropical storms (or lower) before they get up this far. Sometimes they can really slam us though. Ivan caused serious flooding here a few years ago. I think that was 2004. They had to send scuba divers into some apartments to rescue people.

I lost another pound last week. I feel so much better. I was able to get into a smaller size. I really look better. I still want to lose a few more pounds, but I am happy like this too.
