The Warcraft Civilization
Feb. 14th, 2012 01:49 pmI just heard about this book: The Warcraft Civilization: Social Science in a Virtual World. Part of the blurb states: "WoW can be seen not only as an allegory of today but also as a virtual prototype of tomorrow, of a real human future".
I have to say, if WoW is what the future is going to be like, I think I'm going to opt out. Can you imagine if daily discourse everywhere was like Trade chat? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
